About Erin’s Yoga Classes

Erin is the founder of Breath by Breath Yoga and Wellness. She has a passion for holistic health and is a yoga teacher, health coach and Doterra essential oil wellness advocate. She was initially drawn to yoga in 2002 looking for a way to reduce stress. It was love at first breath and yoga has been a vital part of her life ever since. Through yoga she was able to find a deep sense of inner peace, relieve stress, depression and anxiety and find balance. While on her yoga mat she found time stood still, thoughts about the past and future slipped away and she was able to be completely present. Her body started to open, chronic lower back and shoulder pain disappeared, her sleep and long term digestive issues improved and she felt strong. She developed a deep love and passion for yoga and this shines through in her classes. She delights in guiding her students to connect within themselves, finding joy and purpose in their lives and developing a yoga practice they can take off their mat and out into the world, enriching their lives and those around them.

Over the years Erin has explored many different styles and areas of Yoga including Purna, Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Yin, Meditation and Chanting.  Her classes provide a supportive, nurturing environment in which people can retreat from the daily grind, recharge their batteries and get some much needed ‘me time.’ Classes include asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breath work), meditation, relaxation and often Doterra essential oils. Erin weaves in principles of alignment, balance, flow, stillness and self-enquiry and her classes build strength, flexibility and awareness of the body. She encourages her students to honour and listen to their bodies and is skilled at modifying and providing alternatives in class so everyone can get as much challenge (or ease) as they need.
